Milkyway
The Milkyway™ design database and Milkyway Environment
facilitate the Galaxy™ design platform from Synopsys. This
widely used database is the common date repository for
Synopsys IC design tools, allowing seamless interoperability
among implementation and analysis tools. Because design data
is stored in a single database with rapid read/write access, long
data translation times between tools and inconsistent interpretation
of diverse data are prevented. Milkyway is in wide
